John Matusz is a technically proficient welder and stone worker. What makes his work remarkable is an ability to work from a river of consciousness that has defined Man since his beginnings. His recent work continues a career of creating contemporary expressions of classical form, shape, and space. Ric Kadour from Kasini House contributed an essay to the catalog and spoke at the opening reception. The 32-page catalog is full color and perfect-bound. It was published by West Branch Gallery of Stowe, Vermont and accompanied an exhibition of Matusz’s work that took place in Fall 2007.
